Instructor

I was born and brought up in Kenya, East Africa. I went to India, to study Home Science. I studied in the University of Maharaja Sayajirao. After graduating I returned to Kenya. After my marriage I went to Mombasa and taught International cooking, baking and crafts in Burhani Women’s Finishing College.

In 1992 my family came to the U.S. as we felt the future stability was uncertain and there was also a lack of education facilities for the children. While in the U.S., I taught Healthy Authentic Indian cooking for about 14 years in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. My husband and I moved to Florida after we retired in 2008.
