Chef Lynnette is a 2012 graduate from The Art Institute of Tampa. She has always had a passion for baking as long as she can remember. Her culinary career began at The Rolling Pin. After discovering “The Pin” about 7 years ago, she took a few classes, entered a couple contests and fell in love. She quickly became an assistant and began to have an interest in becoming a chef. After speaking to Chef Dave and several guest chefs, she decided to pursue her dream. She began by enrolling in the Bakery/Pastry nine-month program. Through encouragement from Chef Dave, she switched to the 2-year Associates Degree program and gained knowledge of the culinary side.
She now teaches her passion of Breads and our monthly Rolling Pin Teas. “I enjoy teaching immensely. If I can teach just one person something new to help make their home baking or cooking experience much more enjoyable, then I have succeeded in using the skills and talents that I have been blessed with.” Happy Baking!
