Barbara Bria Pugliese is a graduate and blue ribbon recipient in Culinary and Pastry Arts from Peter Kumps New York Cooking School, now known as the Institute of Culinary Education. Barbara’s work experience includes working at a 4 star restaurant in NYC and a Michelin rated restaurant in Italy, as well as teaching at the Institute of Culinary Education during which time she won two Food and Wine Awards.

She has had her own business for more than twelve years, where she makes specialty cakes and pastries, caters, teaches privately at different cooking schools. Barbara also writes articles for publications and does recipe testing and food styling for different cookbook authors. Her talents and experiences are wide ranging, which allows her to help her clients achieve the perfect culinary experience.
